The Chesapeake Bay Roasting Company requires the services of a general duty staff member who is capable of performing order fulfillment and delivery, including in-store merchandising.
Assist the Field Service Supervisor in the distribution of product orders for foodservice accounts as needed, through part-time deliveries and restocking grocery/retail accounts.
Assist the Field Service Supervisor in providing on-site light service, i.e. brewer/grinder dose adjustments, water filter replacement, Q&A reviews to ensure product quality and brand integrity.
Enthusiastically represent Chesapeake Bay Roasting Company through demos and event participation, preparation, load-in, load-out & clean up.
Monitor accounts to identify potential issues, concerns, and new opportunities.
Participate in monthly inventory control counts.
Experience in delivery, customer service and sales
Planning and Logistical skills
Strong written and verbal skills
Ability to build lift up to 50lbs
Self-starter with demonstrated ability to lead, clear communications skills and critical thinking skills
Ability to stand for up to 4 hours at a time
Demonstrated personal commitment to green or sustainable living
Ability to work starting as early as 6am, and earlier on special occasions
Willingness and ability to work weekends and off hours
Ability to drive a cargo van and event vehicle (Valid driver’s license with good driving record required)
Willingness to serve the company as a brand ambassador for demonstration and tasting events
Familiarity with Baltimore/Washington metro areas with an ability to use maps or GPS
Other tasks as assigned by the operations coordinator
